Great Hall

Bay Campus, Swansea University

The Great Hall is a £32 million facility, designed by world-renowned architect Dr. Demetri Porphyrios, on Swansea University’s new Bay Campus, located along the eastern approach into Swansea from the M4. It houses an auditorium seating up to 700 people, a café bar with views over Swansea Bay and has a BREEAM sustainable building rating of Very Good.

There is limited pay-and-display parking available on site at Bay Campus. The venue is also well served by public transport from the city centre.

Blue badge holders will be admitted to the campus and permitted to park in any parking space on display of a valid blue badge. The Great Hall is fully accessible to wheelchair users, with level access throughout the ground floor and two public lifts to the first floor. The first floor has level access throughout (including toilet facilities) with partial flat floor seating within the Sir Stanley Clarke Auditorium itself, as well as ample seating space for wheelchair users. Assistance dogs are welcome at The Great Hall.
