Lunchtime Organ Music with Stephen Power

The first in the Brangwyn Hall’s autumn series of lunchtime organ recitals, join Stephen Power as he plays the Brangwyn’s magnificent 4-manual Willis organ.

Stephen is Director of Music at Brecon Cathedral, where he plans and facilitates the liturgical music, directing two choirs with approximately 60 adults and children in total. Highlights of 2017 included the Inauguration of the Archbishop of Wales and the Festival Evensong in the Brecon Baroque Festival, now in its 12th year. Prior to his appointment, he was Assistant Organist of the Cathedral and Christ College, Brecon, where he was chief accompanist in a busy boarding school music department. He also oversaw the Friday Lunchtime Concert Series. He has accompanied the choirs on tour in Prague, Rome and Tuscany and accompanied their 2015 Christmas CD on the Regent Records Label, O Come all ye Faithful.
