The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments
Thursday 5 October, 7.30pm
Warehouse Gallery, National Waterfront Museum, SA1 3RD
Sound House – an adventure in words and music based on the writings of the 17th century philosopher Francis Bacon.
With actor Terence Wilton, who reads from Bacon’s philosophical writings, Clare Salaman’s brilliant and innovative group uses extraordinary lost instruments from history to conjure a magical world of music, physics, theatre, and philosophy. The last ever performance of this project – a once in a lifetime opportunity!
